The Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Tigers will meet up on the MLB(mlb championship rings) diamond Friday to start up their series.

In the Thursday finale, Toronto fell 5-0. For Friday’s game, the Jays are going with Marcus Stroman in the start. Stroman is 5-10 with a 3.25 ERA and 88 strikeouts this season. Over on the Tigers’ side, they’re fresh off a set versus Cleveland. Detroit dropped the first three games of that one 8-6, 8-0 and 7-2. In the Thursday matchup, the Tigers fell 6-3.

In the Friday game, Detroit(custom Detroit Tigers championship rings) will send out Jordan Zimmerman for the starting role. This season Zimmerman is 0-6 with a 7.01 ERA and 35 Ks. The Blue Jays are 5-17 in their last 22 in game one of a series and 1-7 in their last eight Friday games. The over is 11-5 in Toronto’s last 16 in game one of a series and they’re 4-1 in their last five versus the AL Central.

Meanwhile, the Tigers(custom championship rings) are 4-0 in their last four home games following a road trip of a week or more and 8-20 in their last 28 in game one of a series. Detroit is 15-40 in their last 55 Friday games and 0-5 in their last five versus the AL East. Stroman will be throwing for the first time in Detroit here, but he’s gone against the Tigers four times over his career. On Opening Day in Toronto, Stroman put up seven scoreless innings. As for Zimmerman, he was roughed up by the Royals on Sunday and has given up 14 runs on 21 hits in 7.1 innings over his past pair.



I like Stroman to come out and pitch well here so I’m going Blue Jays.
